Everything You Need to Know About
(Gl)ice Skating at the Farm

DO I NEED A RESERVATION TO SKATE?

Yes! Reservations for skate sessions and rentals must be made through our website. Skating session reservations cannot be made on-site with cash payment. BOOK NOW

HOW MUCH DOES SKATING COST?

Ages 3 to 11 are $12. Skating for ages 12and up is $18. Skate and helmet rentals are $4 each.

Any non-skaters must purchase general admission to enter the farm.

A skating reservation waives the general admission requirement for that ticket holder.

CAN I BRING MY OWN SKATES?

Yes! You may bring your own or rent from us. Please do not use toe picks on our rink. Rentals are $4 per pair.

DO I NEED TO SIGN A WAIVER TO (GL)ICE SKATE?

Anyone participating in (Gl)ice skating is required to sign a liability waiver before guests are allowed to skate.

This is a legal document.

Adults must sign for themselves.

Parent(s) or Court-Appointed Legal Guardian(s) must sign for any participating minor (those under 18 years of age). An adult can sign the waiver for up to (10) minors at a time. When an adult is signing for a minor, the minor's name must be listed on the waiver.

I MADE A RESERVATION, WHAT NOW?

You will receive a confirmation email that includes your tickets and instructions for signing our activity waiver. This waiver MUST be signed by each skater prior to arrival at the farm. We also recommend arriving at the farm 30 minutes before your reserved session.  Please read our Code of Conduct and Assumption of Risk.

I PURCHASED A SKATING RENTAL OR GENERAL ADMISSION. CAN I UPGRADE TO DO A FARM ACTIVITY?

Yes, guests can upgrade to the Barnyard Experience or Farm Life at our ticket booth for the remaining difference.

I RESERVED SKATE RENTALS, BUT WHY COULDN'T I RESERVE A SIZE?

Sizing will be determined upon arrival at the skate desk. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your reservation to ensure adequate time for getting your skates and to enjoy your entire skating session.

WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE MY RESERVED TIME SLOT?

All sales are FINAL. However, if availability permits, reservations can be adjusted by following the instructions on your confirmation email.

WHEN DOES THE 40-MINUTE SKATE SESSION START?

Skate sessions all start at pre-set times (10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, and 3:30pm). All session skaters will be allowed on the rink at the start time. When the session is over staff will empty the rink for the next session.

We do not offer a time or cost credit for those who arrive late to their session.

CAN A CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 3 SKATE?

Skating is ages 3 and up. We do not recommend skating for toddlers under three. Our rental skates start at toddler size 8.5. Young children often have a hard time balancing skates. All skaters must have a skating session reservation and a signed waiver. We do recommend that young children are accompanied by a skating adult.

PLEASE NOTE: Shoes are not permitted on the (Gl)ice. Parents are not allowed to carry children while skating.

CAN I BOOK A FIELD TRIP FOR MY SCHOOL/YOUTH GROUP?

Yes! Please visit our Field Trip Website Page to inquire about our educational and group experiences that can include ice skating!

IS THE ICE RINK ADA-ACCESSIBLE?

Yes

DO YOU OFFER SKATING LESSIONS?

No
